Instructions for Registration
|
In addition to providing general information (name, address, phone numbers, and e-mail),
the InterJournal Registration Form includes:
- Selection of an Author/Referee ID:
Similar to a log-in ID it serves as a unique identifier within the system.
If you select a previously existing ID you will be prompted for a replacement.
- Selection of an Author/Referee password:
The use of a password enables restricted access to confidential referee reports and
correspondence. Because the password field does not show the password when it is
typed, it is duplicated for verification. Please do not forget your password since
even the editors do not have access to it.
- Home page:
The Home page is an (optional) Internet address provided by you.
This is an opportunity to place various information on the Internet
and make it
accessible to readers of the InterJournal.
The information can include general research information, and may include
a collection of hyperlinks to copies of articles you have published. The Home
page will be accessible to readers of any manuscript published by you in the InterJournal.
- Areas of interest:
Areas of interest should be chosen from the
list of available fields in the
Subject hierarchy.
The areas of interest specified will be used to bring to your attention articles of interest to you.
The areas are designated by the bold letters at the beginning of each line in the list.
More general areas in the hierarchy refer to articles of interest to a broader audience.
This means that you should specify the most specific areas possible.
According to the default option all of the more general areas will be automatically included.
If you want to limit the articles drawn to your attention to those considered of general interest
specify a more general area.
A more detailed explanation is available.
Essential items:
The only essential items on the registration form are
- Author ID
- Author password
- Author name
- One area of interest
