We examine a computing paradigm based on interacting quantum-dot cells. Each cell contains continuous classical information-bearing degrees of freedom, and quantum mechanical degrees of freedom which, though essential for the dynamics, transport no information. We connect the purely quantum mechanical description of such a cellular array with the Cellular Neural Network paradigm.
