|Diffusion of Na+ and Ca++ in spheric cells|
Ca++ is one of the most important ions involved in cell activity. Its regulation is closely related to Na+ concentration inside and outside the cells. We simulate the diffusion of these ions for different spheric cell sizes and membrane potentials, including the Na+/Ca++ exchanger, in order to discuss how ionic regulation works.
